Well, the online application was easy enough. From there I had to try and get a phone interview; this was easier said than done since depending on who the store operator is/was, they'd tell you that policy forbade them from telling you the schedule of an associate, and so they couldn't specify a day or time for you to call back and reach the HR/Personnel department. Once I got the phone interview scheduled for 9 AM, I never got a call. So, at 5 minutes to 10, I called them, at which point a basic review of the position, quoted nearly verbatim from the online application was given to me, and I was asked if I was still interested. From there, I was scheduled for another interview. Upon arriving (thankfully early) I was directed to a computer to take an online assessment that, for reasons unknown, was not part of the application process. After completing that and standing around for about 30 minutes, I was brought to an office by a manager for my interview, where he had given me "Acceptable, but not excellent" remarks on the interview questionnaire before I had even finished answering. The manager was a tool, and told me that the job paid "Not much, about $8" and informed me of the team leads, "They're both women, BUT they know what they're doing."
But, what the heck. It's income.
