First was over the phone, very high energy and very friendly. Then down to business. The hiring agent asked me about my background and work experience. Then he asked me about the types of banking accounts I have......then how much money I had in them and how much I had saved??? Did i have at least $25,000 saved? I had to pass on this job.

I was called by a screener who asked me basic questions about myself: strengths, weaknesses. The call lasted about 15 minutes. He didn't seem to know many of details about the position. This seems to be the process for State Farm.

Interview was just okay, included the owner, office manager, and another sales agent. The male agents seemed nice but the women were not that friendly. Seemed like a red flag that the one ignored me when I said hello. Seemed a bit too tight knit for me.

Asked me about insurance industry. How extensive was my knowledge in that field. How comfortable I am in sales. Typical questions. Most important thing is to have a property and casualty license. Must get it on your own. They do not assist in acquiring it.
