I got interviewed at Simplia for a remote role. I cleared the interview and got selected. I received their confirmation by mail to take the further steps for my joining process. The company put me on hold post my selection for the next 10 days by giving excuses that the panel was on leave and the hr was not available for the final discussion due to some family emergency. I told them to share the offer letter but they said that they want me to join in 2 days so they will share everything at once I had my final discussion with HR since they had already confirmed my selection by mail by ccing the respective people. During that period no one reached me either on calls or texts and they backed off on the 11th day stating by mail that I was not available on calls or texts to complete the joining formalities so couldn't take this ahead. I was given assurance from the team's end that in a few days, your joining formalities would be done and they wanted me to join in 2 days. This whole process of interview selection has been a nightmare for me where they put candidates under the impression that they have been selected and that very soon they will be sharing the offer letter along with the joining formalities but that is a scam from the hiring team's end. You might get the impression of being selected and relax but actually, the company fakes out and ditches you at the end moment by making a false accusation that the candidate is not available to join. My worst experience so far. This could be not comforting for any candidate to whom you give your confirmation over mail and then back off by putting acquisitions on the candidate.
