I applied for a position towards the end of 2022 and underwent an initial HR interview. However, I did not receive feedback for several weeks until I received an email stating that the position was put on hold but could potentially open up again soon. Two months later, I re-applied for the same position and had another successful HR interview, which led me to the next step - an interview with the Team. Unfortunately, a few days later, I was informed that I would not proceed to the next stage, but the feedback was unclear. I found it odd that the interview process started with meeting the team before having a chance to delve into the role with the Hiring Manager or HR BP. Although Semrush appears to be a great place to work, I believe that more transparency should be provided during the selection process, and the process should follow a more conventional approach, where the candidate speaks with the Hiring Manager or a Senior Manager first before meeting the team.
