J'ai postulé via un recruteur. J'ai passé un entretien chez Samsara (San Francisco, CA)

Very short, and I don't just mean the length of the interview, I also mean the sales manager was completely short and disinterested from the start. She would ask a question and then once I started to answer she cut me off. Same thing happened at the end of the call when she asked me if I had any questions about the company or the role... Once I started to ask a question she cut me off again. Had an "I don't care about you or what you're saying" kind of attitude.
If you are someone coming from a more technical and complex sales cycle, you might not want to apply here. Sounds like a one call close. They don't care about sales strategy, just a strict sales process. All about numbers and ranking.
I asked her about company culture and she said they have tv monitors all over the place with sales people rankings on the board and people constantly competing for first place, people decorate your desk, and you get trophies when you win.
It was a turn off, sounds a lot like a Yelp kind of sales environment.

I first spoke with a recruiter for the screening process, which took about 25 minutes. She was late, but was very nice and provided tips on what they're looking for. She sent a lot of follow up information to prep for the next interview round. I then met with the hiring manager who did a deeper dive into numbers and expectations.
5 rounds in total, 1 with HR, 1 with a Sales Manager, then 3 in 1 day: Manager, Director and another Director. Very low acceptance rate. Must demonstrate growth mindset, specific deal metrics, and a natural drive.
