Entretien
I first applied online at the Sam's Club website. A couple of days later, I received a phone call asking if I was interested in coming in for an interview. I accepted, and they set up a day and time for the following week. I showed up fifteen minutes early for my interview and waited by the foodcourt. My interviewer showed up and was very nice and outgoing which made me a little more calm and relaxed. She asked all behavioral and situational questions using the STAR method, which all were pretty easy to answer. After the interview, she had given me the option to come back later that afternoon for a second interview. The second interview was pretty much the same as the first where they ask another set of situational questions using the STAR method,again which all were easy to answer. When the interview was finished, she said that I would get a call the next day. It ended up being a couple days later(about 5)when I received another call offering me the position.

Give me a time when you had to work with a difficult co-worker and how did you handle it?
It was good process and was happy with the interview. Very easy going and I did not wait to see the person I was interviewing with. It was casual and I understood what the job entailed

Entretien
The interviewer loved me and even spoke with the manager and got the green light to send me the offer letter. I got a rejection letter at 1am on Sunday, 3 days later. I called them 4 times, left my name and number, even applied for a different position and was told again I would be getting an offer letter.
I called a 5th time and they claimed they did a hiring freeze, they even showed me the note they wrote on my interview saying I was perfect. They still never called me back or hired me.

I wish I was able to go back in time to tell myself to not apply for this company. My experience with the interviewer was unprofessional. The manager didn’t remember my name or who I was when she was the one who organized the meeting. I had to initiate the handshake when she didn’t offer it. The whole interview was less than 15 minutes, and it was basically just her dumping a whole bunch of info about what to expect at the job and rarely gave me time to talk. The interview felt very one-sided. At the end, she was just like, “ Okay, bye” and turned her back against me in her chair. I wasted so much time preparing for this excuse of an interview and was slapped in the face with a rejection email the next day. Honestly, I’m glad I didn’t get the job, I’d rather not work with a manager who is that unprofessional. They really need to train their managers in knowing how to interview applicants.
