Process was a little convoluted…applied for the role and 3 weeks later the hiring manager reached out to schedule an in person interview. No discussion on salary expectations or other pertinent information. I interviewed a week later. Hiring manager said he would be on site to meet but flew home the night before and decided to do the interview virtually. So I met with one of the team members in a conference room who struggled to connect virtually with the hiring manager for 30 mins. Then the hiring manager was asking questions not pertaining to the job posting. He was looking for a program manager who could fill a quality role and that wasn’t listed in the job req or I wouldn’t have applied. After an awkward 1.5 hour interview a few days later I got a call for a follow up interview to meet with the senior team members. I didn’t get a good vibe from the manager initially and after the debacle they put me through during the in person interview I declined to proceed forward.
