Not Professional.
I had a phone interview with the recruiter in which we chatted about my background. She was very friendly and this was a company that I was really excited about. The conversation went very smoothly and she told me the next steps were for me to take an hour long test (like SAT) using only a calculator. I wasn't sure if this was a test to see if you would use one or not. It was definitely tricky and took me longer than an hour.
After finishing that I look through the job descriptions again and realized that another role might be a better fit than the one we had chatted about. I wrote back saying I would like to be considered for this other role (which was a role I had done previously at other companies) and that I would open XYZ dates to interview on the phone. I even connected with a recruiter at a previous job that I was close too see if this was even a good idea as I didn't want to ruin my chances and she stated that a good recruiter would want to position you the best way possible. So I sent the email.
I never heard back.
I emailed 2x and reached out via LinkedIN over a 2 week period. I've never written a review on glassdoor before but I have never been so burned before by a recruiter. I did take an hour + to take the SAT type test for the AE role and then when I followed up not even a response - I find it incredibly rude and unprofessional.
Since this experience, I've had several friends where the recruiter has reached out too through LinkedIN to interview and I sadly have to tell them of my awful and unprofessional experience. While I still think the world of the company and think it's fantastic I still can't believe that a recruiter would not even reply back. :(
Advice - even if you think the candidate is not the right fit please tell them in the initial interview so they know instead of telling them they are a good fit and ghosting on them. The Austin market is small and people talk.

Question 1
Can you talk about your previous job and how it is relevant?
30 Minute call with a recruiter, 30 min call with a manager, and then a panel interview with three senior employees. They felt that I feel short in the panel interviews and didn't move me forward to the demo/ presentations. two of the interviews were great, and one was super cold, and seemed like he had no interest in having a conversation and worried about his next meeting. Not sure what they were looking for as I had plenty of sales experience. For anyone who's looking to apply GOOD LUCK

Question 1
tell me about yourself. Do you have a process with outbound outreach
Thorough and straightforward. Multiple rounds, and great feedback. They are very responsive and do not take too much time to give an answer. All the interview rounds made sense, and they make sure you are culturally a good fit.

The interview process was very long. I went through 5-6 calls/ interviews before a decision They were very responsive throughout but I thought that this many interviews was a bit excessive.
