J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Oracle (Hyderâbâd) en déc. 2009
Entretien
There were 3 rounds of 1:1 interviews. They asked standard puzzles - 100 doors in a row (closed initially) 1st turn every door opened, 2nd turn - doors at position of multiples of two are switched from their position and so on. After 100 th turn what doors are left open ?
Questions d'entretien [2]
Question 1
you have 100 doors in a row that are all initially closed. you make 100 passes by the doors starting with the first door every time. the first time through you visit every door and toggle the door (if the door is closed, you open it, if its open, you close it). the second time you only visit every 2nd door (door #2, #4, #6). the third time, every 3rd door (door #3, #6, #9), etc, until you only visit the 100th door.
question: what state are the doors in after the last pass? which are open which are closed?
you find yourself in a duel with two other gunmen. you shoot with 33% accuracy, and the other two shoot with 100% and 50% accuracy, respectively. the rules of the duel are one shot per-person per-round. the shooting order is from worst shooter to best shooter, so you go first, the 50% guy goes second, and the 100% guy goes third.
where or who should you shoot at in round 1?
It was straightforward, HR is accommodating. This is for the graduate position. I was asked the fundamentals for Java/OOP/SQL, they made me code 4 questions with the inclusion of how to swap variables. Next process involved being interviewed by a director in India which was a whiteboard exam, you are given 2 questions. One of them you have to give the optimal solution O(n). Overall, it was a great experience.
The interview process was nice. The interviewers were really kind and professional while conducting the interview. There were questions about rating your mastery in certain skills. There was a machine problem asked and behavioral questions.
