First phone screen went well and the rep seemed very knowledgeable about the organization and the work being done, which was refreshing and nice.
2nd interview was a panel with the hiring manager and a senior team member. They built good rapport and has great questions around culture fit, personality, behavior management and technical experience. The hiring manager, though, seemed highly distracted as though he didn't want to even be there. He would regularly interrupt answers and dismiss answers. I took this to mean the position post wasn't very serious, but who knows. Maybe it was an internal hire after all?
