The worst interview experience I had. The HR call and the phone interviews went through great. Then the recruiter contacted me to schedule an onsite interview. This step made me feel that they are really disorganized. The recruiter sent me an email with no details on the onsite and asked me to enter my availabilities. I had to ask them to send me the interview details for the onsite interview. I responded quickly with my availabilities, but I didn't get anything back from the recruiter after 2 days. I reached out to ask if there was any updates. The recruiter politely responded that they were working on it because my interview was back on the queue. Sure. Then I waited for an another few days and I got an email from the recruiter asking me "Hey can you reserve Nov 13th for us". I responded yes immediately. After that email, no response at all from the recruiter since then. I tried to reach out to the recruiter again asking for a confirmation but that person just never responded. It has been about 2 weeks. During that time, I was preparing for their interview, and they wasted so much time from me. Lyft recruiters, please respect the interviewees. If there are any headcount changes you need to let us know instead of letting people wait and reject people silently. There are many companies out there doing so much better than you. I will never interview with Lyft in the future and I will share my story with all my software engineer friends.
