Applied, recruiter reached out same day to schedule a chat on the phone. He answered some questions and walked me through the interview process. Said that after the interview, he would reach out 24-48 hours later to discuss if I was moving on. The interview itself was fine, asked for a review of my resume, a few questions on my experience, a couple technical questions (general mechanics/statics), and then a couple questions on vehicle body design. Recruiter did not reach back out to me in the window he told me. I emailed him 5 days after the interview and asked if there were any updates, he said he had a meeting with the hiring manager later that day and would update me before EOD. From that point, completely ghosted. I had a sense from the interview that I wasn't an ideal fit for the role, which is fine, the hiring manager was very kind and laid back in the interview. But I am upset by the recruiter not keeping promises and ghosting.
