      Entretien

There is no interview process at all, only a three part assessment. In fact, applicants won't speak anyone from Lionbridge during any part of the selection process. All communication is handled via email. All applicants must apply online. There are specific requirements for each position, and each posting is only open to residents of the specific state listed. You may not be currently working for one of their competitors (Leapforce, Appen Butler, Hill, etc.). They will also only contract with one person per household. If your application meets all of Lionbridge's requirements, you'll receive an email with the required forms to complete in order to participate in the exam. The response time likely varies based on their current needs. I received a response a little over a week after I applied. Before gaining access to the exam, applicants must agree to the terms and conditions, rate of pay, contractor agreement and a non-disclosure. The exam invitations are sent about 48 hours before the exam opens. The invitation will include a link to the general guidelines. It is very important to learn all of the pertinent information in this 160+ page guide. There is also an exam support portal with tutorials and other information to assist examinees. The exam consists of three separate parts that must be completed within the one week exam period. Completing the exam is very time intensive. I don't believe that it is possible to pass the exam without investing at least the recommended ten hours studying and answering the questions. Part one is a thirty-three question multiple choice test based on the general guidelines. Each question has four parts that must be answered true or false. Each page must be submitted within two hours, or it will time out causing the user to lose their work. It took me about an hour to complete part one. After completing part one, the applicant will receive an email notification with a pass/fail result within fifteen minutes. Only those applicants who pass part one will be able to access part two. Part two is a page quality assessment. Test takers must complete tasks on their smartphones in parts two and three. There are seven pages to evaluate in part two. Applicants must correctly apply the guidelines to the specific examples presented. I took several breaks while completing part two. It would be difficult to complete all seven pages in one sitting. As with part one, the applicant will receive a pass/fail result within minutes of submitting part two. Again, only those who pass part two will be able to access part three. Part three is the needs met rating section of the exam. In my opinion, this was the most difficult section. I would recommend taking the practice tests before attempting to complete pages in part three. In this section, examinees will be asked to evaluate the results of seven different user queries. It took me at least a half hour to complete each task. The needs met ratings are somewhat subjective, and it's important to have enough time to evaluate each result in detail. As with part two, I took several breaks while completing this section. Unlike parts one and two, applicants do not receive an immediate result for part three. Applicants can expect to receive their overall exam result after midnight PST following the end of the exam period. For those that passed, your result is announced directly in the subject line of the email. Those candidates that passed will receive a welcome packet with information about getting started in the program within a few days following that initial email.
