I had a phone interview with a member of HR, then took a personality test over the phone. Once those two items were out of the way, I had a 1 on 1 interview with the hiring manager and was then handed off to the team for a round of group questioning. After the intervew I wrote a thank you letter and then made a follow-up call. Obviously, I spent some time on this interviewing process. I did not receive the job and I am OK with that - I don't expect to end up with every job I interview for, however I do expect courtsey. Kenexa writes software to streamline the HR process, but it has never occurred to them to write a form letter telling the applicant that they have been rejected. The company is rude.
