I don't remember exactly when the process took place. I was invited to a non-technical interview with a HR representative. After passing that stage, I was given some homework: a 5-hour programming assignment to be completed at home, at my convenience, under no strict deadline. (Note for prospective interviewees: long assignments like that are not uncommon at smaller companies, at least in Stockholm. They want to know for sure if you can write code.)
At this point, I asked about the salary range for the position. In my experience, this is considered a reasonable question before committing many unpaid hours on a programming task. However, the recruiter declined to provide that information, so I withdrew from the recruitment process and accepted work elsewhere. I let them know in a polite (and sincerely meant) email thanking for their time and wished them luck filling the position, but my email was left unanswered (again, quite unprofessional).
On the plus side, the on-site interview was pleasant. The receptionist was friendly and left a positive impression on me.

Question 1
I was asked about my siblings and their jobs (not sure how they wanted to use that info, maybe it was just to make chit-chat).

Very pleasant interview, but very unclear job test time requirements and time requirements. "We wanted it to be unclear" was the answer when asking about the task. When I told them the task took me more than the suggested time, they still wanted me to work on it further, so I dont get the idea of having a time requirement. A friend doing the same task did not get a time requirement, worked a week on it, got rejected, but with no clear suggestion of improvement either.
I would suggest not spending too much time on the company unless you feel the task comes naturally to you or you really want the job.

Skills and interest, but a very unclear code test.
It was supposed to take about 4 hours.

Long process with several steps, including a first non-formal "who are we, what we want"-kind of meeting, and little focus on me. Second step was a programming test, kinda basic with good instructions and pretty clear what should be achieved. Third step was a technical interview that took two hours with several logic based programming questions, they were however very unclear unlike the technical test and there was no clear-cut answer. After this there would be a meeting with HR-department, followed by an informal meet and greet with the colleagues.
After this long process, and after declining me, I did not even receive a reason why, even when asking they totally ignored my e-mails.
