Virtual 1-on-1 interviews and a structured, 2-hour case study evaluation with HR, hiring manager, and senior managers. It was cordial and I suspect they were having difficulty finding someone to accept the salary they were offering. The job posted months before and when I was contacted I suspect that they had someone in mind and just wanted to evaluate a couple more candidate.

Why do you fit this position? Why are you making a change now?
I had the most bizarre and unpleasant interview with the interviewer which is based on Shanghai, she was so unprofessional and disrespectful. Says a lot about the company for having someone like that as HR. She made it seem I’m wasting her time when she is the one who reached out to me for the role, it’s obvious that she is accepting interviews just for KPI
