I recently participated in a brief phone screening with a representative from IBM. The purpose of the call was to assess my suitability for the position of software engineer. The interviewer asked me about my educational background, work experience, and technical skills. I answered the questions confidently and provided examples of my projects and achievements. The call lasted for about 15 minutes and ended with the interviewer thanking me for my time and informing me that I would hear back from them soon.
- The interview with the IBM representative was challenging but interesting. He asked me several questions on hashing, such as how to implement a hashmap in Java, what are the advantages and disadvantages of different hashing methods, and how to handle collisions. He also tested my knowledge of the syntax for writing a hashmap, and asked me to write some code snippets to demonstrate it. He was very thorough and wanted to know the time complexity for simple algorithms like searching, inserting and deleting elements from a hashmap. I tried my best to answer his questions and explain my reasoning.

It was a virtual interview. They asked basic questions that were not specific to the role with no recording option. It's been weeks and I have yet to hear back.

Biased Interviews, uncertain Group discussion, no formal procedure, random hiring, unsystematic procedure. Not happy with the experience as the HR were not that professional with the procedure of recruitment. The application process is lengthy as well.

Resume shortlist of the students on campus followed by an online interview on webex, it was 1 round, the resume shortlist looked for ai / ml projects. The Interview was split into various sections and the panel had 5 members.
- They asked about various AI/ML concepts such as what is learning rate, loss etc. different models used for learning and then followed it with a dsa round

Mostly questions were asked about resume and previous projects . Basic technical questions were asked from BRF+ And smartforms and Enhancement . It was quite like discussion rather than interview .

HackerRank coding test, which is first round, contains 2 questions, one is sql another is python. I would say python is harder than I expected. Definitely need some time to do some exercise
