submitted application both online and instore...an amazing cover letter got me the interview...1 month later I received a call for a telephone interview... 3-4 weeks later I interviewed one to one with the assistant store manager...the interview included behavioural enactments...3 weeks later I was given an offer...my face dropped when they offered me $11/hour....I am nearly 50 and have lots of transferrable skills and experience including management...I did not counter offer....I was promised lots of training and a new position that would pay more in the very near future...2 years later it has still not happened and I am still in the same place and have not received a raise.
