After being contacted by a recruiter, I was required to schedule a phone interview. The first phone interview was pretty basic asking if I understood the role, if I thought the company would be a good fit etc. After a few weeks, without hearing anything, I was contacted by another person for another phone interview. The job was explained in further detail, I was asked to discuss my work history, and what I liked about Groupon. I felt like the person was reading off a list of questions and checking a box because there wasn't much feedback or personality from the interviewer.The interview was pretty basic and I felt it went well, however, I received a message a week later stating they chose another candidate.

Phone Call interview with recruiter. She invited me to go for the next steps. I was scheduled for a 1 hour google meet with managers. That interview was canceled two days beforehand by another recruiter that I never even spoke with, she said she canceled all existing interviews due to "hiring pause" and that she will reach out as soon as they can reschedule. I emailed both recruiters after I received that message and no response! Pretty unprofessional, unorganized, and lack of communication. During this same time, I have interviewed with other large companies and the recruiters were better at every single company.

I was contacted by a really lovely HR representative for an introductory call. I got a really good sense of the company and role just in that first call. I was updated regularly and given lots of opportunities to ask questions and to gain feedback.
