An exact week after I had sent my application (CV and cover letter), I received an email asking that I attend an assessment centre the following week, where I would sit the three tests and have a one-on-one face-to-face interview. As I was out of the country, they arranged that I have a phone interview two days later, and that if I was to pass that, then I would need to sit the tests at home. The interview consisted of questions such as: Why did you choose to o your degree? What do you know about what FactSet does as a company? Who is our main competitor? How are we different to them? Why have you chosen consulting? Why should we choose you? What do you think are the most important skills a consultant at FactSet should have? Why FactSet? Its not too hard, but do prepare for these questions. I got through, and now I'm waiting to do the tests.
