I was contacted by email to attend an initial 'Microsoft teams interview'. I prepared thoroughly (researched company, etc) and waited at the agreed time within the meeting but I received a call on my phone instead. The call lasted about 3 minutes and I was asked about salary expectations and would I be interested in a junior role. I wasn't, and the job description did not mention it was a junior position. They said they would be back in touch... they weren't. I am not sure why I was asked for an 'interview' and they could have asked these questions via email or warned it was an informal initial chat, felt like they wasted my time
