Straightforward and quite fast. Interviews were mostly conversational as opposed to technical. “Do we like this person?” “Are they a fit?” Those were the vibes I got more than “can this person do the work?” That’s consistent with culture. Personality over merit can be a thing and it reflects in those questions. It’s a reality not an editorial.

Conversational more than skill or technical. A point of emphasis I noticed was what does keeping commerce hum mean to you? That’s the company motto so it makes sense. With several interviewers they well actually-ed me on that topic and it’s not suitable. Additional note for an insistence on the notion “we do things a little different here.” They/we do. Better or worse. So, no matter how good you are be ready to roll with that undercut.
