Pathetic interview for Bangalore office- HR are a bunch of kids from prime institutes
I had a bit of bad experience with Yodlee.
I was called for interview on 27th May 2017 after discussing over the phone for a hike of 50% and Lead Performance engineer Position role and I know the companies profile which is not too Great having worked with bigger brands earlier.
Well the role and hike on discussion was good so though of taking this up. I was there on time as the whole process has to be winded up the same day including Offer. I was there till 7 Pm(felt like a fresher) for the completion 4 technical rounds and take up the HR round and deciding on 31% Hike and offer letter to be sent on email by Tuesday. I didn't get a response after that for few days.
Firstly, company needs to decide their budget and then look out for a candidate. Instead HR trying to bargain in the 5th round. To my surprise on 12th June I got an Yodlee recruitment team that I have not been selected and when I asked my consultant about it they informed not enough technical knowledge :)
On 20th June a got call again from HR's personal number, Consultant was cut out of the process here. I was called and told that we are going to continue with your interview but we will be give you a hike of 25%. I was like fine may be my current package already high. After 5 rounds and a lot of bargaining I was told about two formality rounds over phone with Architect and Vice President post the discussion. Architect round happened on 21 June and was a pure Technical round I was happy about level of interview but disappointed about HR communication on formality round.
Again I got a call again on 26th June from HR that we can't offer you this package as it creates a PARITY. So they came up with magical figure of 17% which made me uninterested in this company.
