The manager was very polite and friendly, but the interview felt quite unconventional. Typically, an interview starts with introductions, followed by a discussion of the job and its responsibilities. However, this interview went straight from introductions to the interview questions. I had prepared based on the job description related to Diversity and Recruiting initiatives and accomplishments. Unfortunately, all the questions focused on establishing new programs and the methodology of project planning, which only accounted for about 10% of the job description. At the end of the interview, I asked several questions about the initiatives and the specific responsibilities of the role, which turned out to be more about program and project management. Overall, the job description did not accurately reflect what they were looking for in a candidate.
