Had an initial Teams call with the hiring manager, which I thought went really well. He made all the right noises, said I was the only candidate so far who actually did any research on the company, that he'll definitely be moving me onto the next stage etc etc - all smiles and positive feedback. ...and that was it, never heard anything back - was ghosted if you will! I don't mind but having taken some time out of my unpaid lunch break to speak to these people, the least they could do is take 5mins of their time to let you know whether you're moving on to the next stage or not. Literally an email would've been sufficient! Just a bit disrespectful, and a massive red flag for the company.
