I recently went through the interview process for a position at CSX. A few notes below related to the timeline and my overall experience. Started with a phone screening with the recruiter, and was then scheduled for an phone interview with one of the team members. A few weeks later I was scheduled for a panel interview with HR, and 2 team members from the group I would be working with. Fairly easy interview with nice people. Was then scheduled for an onsite interview with the Hiring Manager. Had major issues with booking travel through the agency and even had to use my own credit card as the CSX company card on file was decline at both my hotel and rental car pick up locations. Onsite interview went well; but the office building was very dated with dark lighting. I received a verbal offer from the Recruiter and asked for an adjusted offer amount. After that I never heard back from the Recruiter and ended up only receiving a 'no reply' automated note they had decided to pursue other candidates. I was ok with the outcome but was surprised how little was done during the hiring process to take care of new potential employees.
