It’s was pretty short, felt a bit rushed. It’s only lasted like 10 minutes. I had been waiting a while as well, I waited like for like half and hour before I got interviewed.

      Entretien

Review of work history, details explored. The company is growing and needs to fulfill many positions. Beware of part time jobs… the HR manager informed me that the position was ‘flex’ and said that could mean zero hours this week and maybe four hours next week. Why would anyone sign up for that?!

Retail experience was asked about, and why I left the job.

      Entretien

The interview was probably the most unprofessional interview I ever had. I showed up early and I struggled to find a staff member in the entire store to let them know I was here. The individual interviewing me was picking their nose the entire time and rubbing their nose on their bare arm as they spoke to me. They also didn't know what position I applied for even though there was only one position they had posted. The interview was less than 10 minutes and I asked more questions than was asked of me. I was told that I would not get a call back, only an email requesting consent for a background check, and to keep an eye out for it. I have more than enough experience for a stocking position, including direct retail experience with stocking. I settled for this position because the job market has been extremely difficult and I had direct experience. And yet after 2-3 weeks of waiting for a response, I got a rejection email saying they went with a different candidate. I went into the establishment the other day to shop - and not only was the store almost completely empty of staff yet again, but the staff members that were stocking looked fresh out of highschool. I think they rather choose candidates with very little to no experience (like teenagers) who are more likely to put up with certain things than someone in their mid 20s who has more experience. Just my observation.
