J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Booz Allen Hamilton
Entretien
Interviewed with recruiter followed by phone panel interview with an associate, a manager, and a senior manager. There were several aspects of the interview process that were highly impressive:
- I didn't have an internal reference, just blind applied to the position on their website. I had been under the impression that NOBODY gets into Booz without knowing somebody on the inside (I do have internal contacts, but did not leverage any of them or tell them I had applied for this job). I was highly impressed I was able to get in this way purely on past experience and skills.
- There were no BS behavioral questions ("Tell me about a time when..."), nor were there any 'gotcha' or trick questions ("What's your greatest weakness?"), just a straightforward conversation about my experience and skills as they pertained to the actual position. Refreshing.
- The interviewed process moved extremely swiftly, the recruiter was communicative, and I felt that all concerned were respectful of my time - another rare occurrence in the interview process.
- I never felt disrespected or demeaned by the interviewers or their questions, which unfortunately is all too common.

The interview process was pretty straight forward. I interviewed with members of the team, the hiring manager and department lead. These were three separate interviews, of course. The team interview was more of a panel interview style which is also the most nerve-wracking for me, personally.
