Applied online, had a phone call 2 weeks later inviting me into the store. Interview was just with the manager. Asked a few questions, looked at my cv. Manager said he would call within the next week. Had a call didn’t get the job down to other candidates with more experience.

The Argos interview was structured and professional, with competency-based questions and a clear focus on customer service. The interviewer was friendly and calm, making the process feel fair, organised, supportive. Overall it was a standard retail interview about experience and availability
