My experience with AES International during the hiring process was disappointing. Initially, my interview scheduled for March 4th was cancelled abruptly without prior notice or explanation from their HR department. Despite this setback, another HR officer encouraged me to continue, so I gave them a second chance.
Throughout the interview process, I shared valuable insights on finding prospects in Italy, which were appreciated. However, after accepting the position and signing a contract on April 12th to start on June 1st, I received a brief email just 11 days before my start date, informing me that my hiring was frozen due to economic issues facing the company. This sudden communication caused significant financial and time loss for me, as I had turned down other opportunities based on our agreed contract.
In my opinion, AES International fell short in maintaining clear and respectful communication during our interactions. This experience has led me to reconsider recommending AES International to other candidates. Prospective employees should carefully consider their decision, particularly regarding salary and no pensions offered.
