Avantages
Incompetent leadership promotes people into jobs too early, which gives you a lot of opportunity for growth so you can jump ship and take your new skills somewhere else where you'll be valued and the company isn't crumbling apart under terrible leadership.
Inconvénients
The company's executive leadership does not care about their people, but they’re clearly focused on creating an optical illusion of caring. They pledge their commitment to diversity and pay lip service to their employees' "wellbeing" but their behavior implies otherwise. Our organization was filled with so much anxiety and stress, they had to give us a whole week without meetings the week after Christmas and a couple extra days off in January to focus on well-being. Sadly, almost every person I’ve interacted with since this was announced have expressed their inability to take advantage of these benefits because the company has demanded deadlines to have EVERYTHING done by 12/31. I even have a deadline of Christmas for something HAHA. We don’t even have Christmas Eve off. Not sure how they expect us to get all this stuff done with the stress of holidays and their insane demands of their people, all without any meetings to top if off. How funny it is that I'll get fired for not having my "Christmas tasks" done because I took time to "rest and recharge" as they suggested. The reality is, if you’ve allowed the organization to become this stressed, it’s a tell-tale sign that you don’t care about anything but profits and revenue, which you can’t even seem to accomplish anyway. What a waste of my stress and the sacrifices I've made on my health, family, and personal life for this unsuccessful, downward spiral of a company.
