      Avantages

      The Stability engineering department comprises a healthy mix of enthusiastic open-source community developers and seasoned experts from major tech firms. As we transition from a startup, everyone shares responsibility for the company's success. Our work is fully remote, but communication is active and we have easy access to influence upper management. Support and collaboration continue to strengthen. Compensation and benefits are very competitive.

      Inconvénients

      There is a history of less collaboration (1 project per engineer), but this is changing rapidly as work becomes much more team-based.

      Avantages

      If you like the start up atmosphere, it's great. Tons of collaboration and access to leadership. Leadership is interested in doing things correctly from the start, like setting up compensation philosophies and people programs that are transparent and simple to understand. Cutting edge technology.

      Inconvénients

      Some of the news headlines: there are always two sides to every story and don't be so quick to believe all that you read. From the research I have done, it seems that some of the less than positive headlines are using information taken out of context.

      - The people are mostly amazing and supportive.

      Inconvénients

      - Leadership feels ego-driven and incapable of making decisions - Base and equity comp is under market value, one more than the other - Culture of bias and favoritism at the leadership level - High performers go under recognized and rewarded
