Avantages

I rated SailPoint 4/5 means it is still a good company to work but journey is is towards downside. It was ranked 4th best place to 18th and now it is at last position. --- Very friendly management --- Approachable Management --- Work life balance --- Work from home --- No drastic change in work ( if you like it :-) )

Inconvénients

1. No onsite for engineering 2. Pay structure isn't competitive 3. Don't make it just a workplace and bring some life at work 4. Recognize real talent and sustain it because the compitition is very heigh. 5 years back the SailPoint Pune was more employee oriented company but now the goal is clear.. "you are here for just work" There is very slow job progression for engineering team, zero on site opportunities SailPoint loosing it's intellectual property just they can't compete with other product base companies in terms of compensation.

Avantages

Collaborative environment, fair compensation and possibility of increase through shares awards, leadership that really tries to involve you with what you like doing - in my time here I never felt like a number, they genuinely care. Affinity groups give you the opportunity to meet people from many areas of the company. Pool of very qualified resources make staffing and overseeing projects easier. Product keeps advancing, so it never gets boring, there is always something new to learn. Good work life balance - heavier workload when projects going live or end of quarters, but lower in between.

Inconvénients

Mostly remote teams - easy to stay isolated, very rare opportunities to bring the team to in person gatherings.

Avantages

I joined SailPoint within the last year, and couldn't be happier with my decision. There are a couple of culture ideals that many companies talk about, but SailPoint makes a core practice. First, they push decision making down to the lowest level. Within just a few weeks, I was making significant decisions about the direction of my products with full support of my manager. Second, SailPoint has a rule, "No talented jerks." Employees that are good at their jobs, but treat coworkers poorly are let go. This has created one of the most respectful, cooperative, and teamwork focused cultures I've ever encountered. Add in working remote full-time and unlimited PTO, and it's hard to think of any downsides.

Inconvénients

If you are not in the Austin area, and are not very comfortable with remote work, you might struggle since most of the company is remote, and you might only have face-to-face in-person time with your team a couple times a year.
