Avantages
Everyone seems to have their heart in the right place and are interested in doing the best job they can to help older people. Even when things got busy, and stressful, it was nice to know that the vast majority of staff and management were trying their best to work together for a positive outcome. It's a good place to establish a long term career, as they encourage you to further your skillset by providing ongoing training and interesting challenges. They even invest in scholarships and traineeships. They are constantly growing, expanding, researching, and evolving, which makes it very vibrant, and a good place to grow. The number of long term employees are testament to that. I had an excellent manager there, and worked with some lovely colleagues that I still consider friends.
Inconvénients
Parking was an issue sometimes, but I believe has improved recently, with some people working part-time from home. Not a fan of the open plan office layout.
