The pace is steady, and I rarely have to work beyond my scheduled hours. My manager sets reasonable deadlines, and I've never been asked to cover news late at night or on weekends. The lower stress level is a welcome change from my previous job in consumer media, and I've avoided the burnout that plagued me elsewhere.

The travel can be tiring, and the event schedule sometimes requires last-minute changes.
