      Avantages

      You get a paycheck. Strong financial backing from Founder CEO's billionaire family.

      Inconvénients

      Privately owned 16 yr old mom and pop SaaS company, operating like tech start up. Ranting micro manager Founder CEO with zero prior business experience who cant see forest for the trees. Heads of Engineering, Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, and Project Mgmt have all left in past one year. You will be asked to use your personal mobile device and call/data plan for work for which there is no reimbursement. You will constantly be explaining standards, best practices and policies. All your work is internally focused, you will spend most of your time presenting to co workers. Company is over zealous with use of apps, you will be required to daily enter what you worked on in Nikabot so mgmt can monitor you. Co mismanaged for years. Sr Mgmt make it known if you dont like it leave, so everyone is.

Over the last 18 months, we have almost doubled in headcount, made a competitive acquisition, built strong strategic partnerships and become a global company with offices in the US, UK and New Zealand. With growth comes change and we understand as a long term employee that this can be difficult. We appreciate you staying the course with us. We have asked and will continue to ask our team members to be adaptable and flexible so we can continue to serve our clients in an industry that changes and innovates daily. As our company has changed so much, it makes sense that the leadership model has evolved as well. We have introduced tools and methodologies designed to help us succeed and deliver on our goals. We understand that the communication around the implementation of these tools may not have been perfect but we have made a conscious decision to instill accountability and transparency into our culture. It's a work in progress but we will get there. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts with us.

      Avantages

      *REALLY cool industry and product - you're not working for a dime a dozen Bay Area tech company. It's also fun to see your company name in the credits of mainstream movies and TV *Really good benefits, especially considering the size of the company *Excellent work/life balance *Your colleagues will be some of the most amazing, passionate people you will ever meet *Company has grown a lot in the past few years. It's a great place to develop yourself and grow with it

      Inconvénients

      *Along with the growth, there have been changes in leadership since I've been here which have resulted in a shift in culture towards a bigger company mindset. I think the changes are for the better but it hasn't been easy for some employees to adjust *Internal communication hasn't been great in the past but is actively being worked on

      Some really good people who are passionate about the movie industry, stuck or worse, overworked, underpaid, abused, ultimately fired

      Soulless, clueless management Unrealistic expectations Blatant nepotism Bigotry, racism behind closed doors all while imitating DEI Deception, never taking responsbility Zero communication between departments Failure to address employee concerns Lack of vision and care Lies, lies, more lies Gaslighting, toxicity Creating more problems so nobody notices the real ones: upper and middle management
