Avantages
It's boot camp. You will appreciate more and more of your previous work and how nice it was. If you can survive here, then you may survive anywhere most likely. There are lots of counter examples which you shouldn't do as a professionals, and the lesson will be valuable in your later career at other places.
Inconvénients
Project planning is bad, execution is bad, and all the blame still go to hard working engineering teams. Always.
