From what I’ve seen, the entire job process for technicians is poorly structured. Instead of having defined roles, technicians are expected to handle every step of the process for their clients—from initial troubleshooting to project work, prep, and onsite installs. On paper that might sound efficient, but in reality it spreads technicians way too thin. The result is that other clients are left waiting, and tasks take far longer to complete than they should. Scheduling is another major issue. Drive time doesn’t seem to be properly accounted for, which leads to technicians being overbooked and constantly rushing between jobs. It creates a situation where people are basically forced to eat while driving just to keep up, which is both stressful and unsafe. Communication and customer handling are also lacking. There doesn’t seem to be enough time allocated to truly listen to client issues, and when clients become frustrated and leave, the blame appears to fall on them rather than on the process itself. That’s a big red flag.
