Avantages
The leadership is absolutely top-notch; the CEO Pat is the real deal and has done this building and selling businesses thing before. He sold his first company to Tesla! Company values of Take Ownership, Ask Why, and Make It Easy were a perfect fit for me. The entire leadership team really lives in these values and it guides everything that goes on in the company. And it's not just leadership; everyone that I've met at the company has been amazing. It's a truly async remote company that is global in the scope of its workforce (especially on the product and engineering teams). Also, Slack is absolute crickets on the weekends. How about that for a startup?! Work-life balance FTW is super important to folks at the :fix: ... on that note, this is one startup that when they say "unlimited vacation" they actually mean it.
Inconvénients
In 3 months at the company, I have no cons yet. I guess that you'd probably make more money in other places, but IMHO money doesn't mean anything. I make plenty and have some equity as well. If you don't like writing, you'll have to get better at it to succeed here. If you don't like reaching out to people and setting up your own introductions, you won't succeed in networking here.
