Avantages

EdgeWave has great vision and the people to bring that vision to life. The work environment is very pro-employee and has a great family feel to it. The company recently went through a rough period where there had to be a few layoffs, so they could get their house in order, but there is definitely a new energy and a feeling of growth being infused into the company now. The company has a relaxed atmosphere to it, but is very serious about the business they are in. They are looking to make the world a safer and better place through superior and more robust Cyber Security. If you are the type of person (like I am) who wants to roll up your sleeves and show what your worth, then EdgeWave is a company that will be a very rewarding experience for you. I feel valued, from the CEO down to my peers, every day that I come to work here at EdgeWave.

Inconvénients

I think EdgeWave is having a hard time shedding the poor images that the company has been saddled with from the past. Also, the company restructuring, has caused them to be under-staffed right now, but it looks like they are actively trying to fix that problem.

Avantages

Worked with some really great people, who unfortunately have the same outlook. This caused a lot of negative (and hilarious) "water cooler" talk.

Inconvénients

EdgeWave has been, and most likely always will be the laughing stock of the cybersecurity industry. Email solution is OK, but still gets beaten out in deals by competitors that actually take part in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Web security solution is 20 years behind. You're better off having nothing in place. It can't even stop a 5th grader from going to a porn site. The Huawaii firewall... well, it's a Chinese firewall. This is the United States, and China is one of our biggest adversaries when it comes to cyber warfare. When you are trying to sell a Chinese firewall to a company in the US, how do you think that deal is going to play out? Oh yeah, and I think they fired the only person that knows how to install them.
