Avantages
+ Upper management does a good job of mostly shielding us from higher-level Brinks distractions. + Unlimited PTO, Work Life Balance are exceptional. + WFH policy is the norm; in office is optional. + "Culture" - the people I work with are genuinely empathetic and easy to get along with. + Tech stack - cloud-native, microservices, micro-front-ends, machine learning - lots of interesting and forward-facing tech
Inconvénients
- Processes can be less-than-defined to the point of barely-controlled chaos - Hands-off management styles can sometimes leave people feeling directionless and/or like their ideas not getting the backing they hope for - Career opportunities can be a little limited, although that aspect has gotten more attention over time - Larger Brinks integration can sometimes intrude in very negative ways (budget, inconsistent communication, hard to get what you need, etc)
