There are no pros to working here.

Inconvénients

After only a short time working here, I can confidently say this is the worst job I have had in my entire 15-year career. Working here felt like selling your soul. The salary and the so-called bonuses may look appealing on paper, but they are nowhere near worth the toll on your mental health, morale, and basic dignity. Office Conditions: The office is rarely cleaned, and staff are expected to work on broken, uncomfortable chairs. It creates an environment that feels neglected and uncared for. Car Park: There are only a handful of parking spaces, seemingly reserved for a select few. Anyone else risks being threatened with a £20 deduction from their salary for parking there. To make matters worse, there is an obvious pest problem. I personally saw mice running around the car park on multiple occasions. HR: HR is practically non-existent. One person appears to handle everything, often without clarity or direction, leaving employees without proper support when it’s needed most. Toilets: In the men’s toilets there is literally a hole in the ceiling, stuffed with toilet paper as a temporary fix. When it’s cold outside, you can feel the draft coming straight through. It’s a perfect example of how problems here are ignored rather than resolved. Canteen: The vending machine works only when it feels like it. Cutlery and plates are frequently missing, the kitchen is often dirty, and basic supplies run out. On one occasion there was no milk, and we were told none would arrive until the next day, so no coffee at all. Management: The management culture is driven by fear and control. Micromanagement is constant, trust is absent, and even experienced employees are given no autonomy to do their jobs properly. There was no meaningful onboarding, no structured support, and a clear sense that everyone is replaceable. Staff turnover is high, which speaks volumes. No Hybrid Working: Employees are required to be in the office five days a week under the justification of “collaboration.” On top of that, weekend work is expected at £12.35 an hour, effectively pushing people toward a seven-day workweek with no time off in lieu. The attitude seems to be that work comes before everything else. It didn’t take long for me to realise this was not a place I could stay. Resigning felt like reclaiming my sanity. No amount of money is worth working in an environment that leaves you feeling undervalued and exhausted. Do yourself a favour: think carefully before accepting a role here. No matter how attractive the pay may seem, there are far better workplaces out there that will respect you, support you, and treat you like a human being.
