      Avantages

      * Good experience in designing for scale. Makes the first 3–4 years a period of growth. * Full ownership of the area, giving a startup-like breadth of work

      Inconvénients

      * High operational burden, making SDE role seem like SRE * Too many "top-down" mandates, leaving little time to execute customer-impacting or career-building projects * Little understanding or support for phases where the personal commitments are high (parent of young kids during Covid lockdown)

      I got paid weekly, there was a $2 premium for night shifts.

      Inconvénients

      The only con was the 2 hour commute to and from work.

      Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

      Inconvénients

      You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
