Avantages

I have been providing speech therapy services for many years and have worked in multiple environments with diverse populations. The number one reason I love Advanced is my recruiter, Jessie Loera. I have established a wonderful, positive and productive work relationship with him. He dependable, thoughtful and is always available to me. I have found Jessie to be honest, transparent and trustworthy. That has not been my experience with other recruiters. When Jessie tells me that his therapists are his number one priority, I believe him. He has proven this again and again. My pay packages have been very fair and commensurate with my years of experience.

Inconvénients

The healthcare benefits are somewhat lacking. A primary care physician is the only doc I have with Aetna in the area. If I need a specialist for any other reason I would have to travel quite far. I am used to Blue Cross/Blue Shield, where all of my docs have always been in network. No potential for accrual of PTO. Limited availability of work assignments at times depending on where you wish to go.

Avantages

Excellent company to work for. I have had two recruiters and have worked on and off for this company over the past several years. My most recent recruiter was Katie who was always upbeat and responsive.

Inconvénients

I do not have any.

Avantages

My recruiter was always looking for a new placement for me.

Inconvénients

My recruiter did not notify me about PDPM changes as I was new to the field and got terminated from my travel job at the end of my first week. After 3 weeks of my recruiter having no luck finding me a travel position, I found myself a full time position elsewhere. When I told my recruiter, he became angry and cursed at me over the phone. I understand his frustration as he couldn’t find placements for any of his recruits but it was unacceptable. If I knew about PDPM cuts I would have waited until I knew the job market was secure and worked with Advanced again but they were not transparent with me.
