You move ahead based on skills not years on the job. You can make some good money yet that may change given the current corporate situation and the depressed stock value
Inconvénients
It is a very bureaucratic organization with an inordinate number of rules and regulations. Its sheer size can be a nightmare to navigate. It has a highly compartmentalized profitcenter based business model. The number of silos is incredible. There is an effort underway to cross-pollinate yet the the culture of creative friction, intra company cometition, political infighting and a reluctance to cooperate is so ingrained as to be extremely difficult to overcome.
